You can check the registration of your codes through the GEPIR (Global Electronic Party Information Registry) by GS1. Verify the validity of a code, check who produces a product, search for company information, and assign the Global Location Number (GLN) code.
Search by Code or Company Name
The GEPIR allows you to search and identify companies using the company name or the GS1 identification number, such as a GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) barcode or a GLN (Global Location Number). The GEPIR is a unique internet-based service that provides basic information about companies that are GS1 members.
For Amazon sellers using our Codifica Service We have created this page that provides a list of possible solutions for the most common errors you may encounter when listing your products on Amazon. We recommend providing Amazon with a copy of your GS1 Certificate along with a screenshot of the GS1 GEPIR showing that the code is licensed to your Company. If you need support, contact Amazon Selling Partner Support (external link for Amazon sellers).
Verified by GS1 will replace GEPIR as of 31 December 2023
